There are several outstanding golf courses within easy reach and numerous attractions and places of interest as well as leisure parks for the children.

Plymouth with its recently opened world famous aquarium is only thirty minutes away whilst the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are within easy reach. The villages of Harbertonford, Halwell and Moreleigh are all within two miles with excellent village shop, pubs and restaurants,

Wagland itself has much to offer with woodland walks and bird watching throughout the valley. Coarse fishing is available free to guests in the mature one acre spring fed lake with tench, perch, roach and carp up to 30 lbs. There is plenty too for the children, with ponies and goats to feed and hen and chicks wandering freely around the farmyard.

Wagland Cottages, in unspoilt and uncrowded surroundings, have been recently converted to a very high standardfrom Devon stone barns and tastefully furnished in warm pine.

The cottages are extremely well equipped with full central heating, fine quality mattresses and bed linen to ensure a relaxing stay. Cots, high chairs and stairgates are provided and prices are inclusive.
